Hereditary cancer solutions for a clear understanding of risk

Sometimes you may have questions about a patient that may be triggered by a testing need or result. Sometimes you may need insight beyond a specific finding.

Our team of genetic counselors is available to provide support and key information, including consultation on test selection and results interpretation, throughout all stages of your patient’s care.

To speak with a genetic counselor, call 1.866.GENE.INFO (1.866.436.3463) M-F, 8:30 AM-8:00 PM EST.

In addition to genetic counselors, we have dozens of MDs and PhDs on staff and available for consultation and questions about test selection, results interpretation, or rare or complex testing.

To refer your patient to a genetic counselor, please visit the National Society of Genetic Counselors website or you may call us at 1.866.GENE.INFO (1.866.436.3463) and we will help you locate a genetic counselor in your area.

Variant IQ™ – Family Insight Program

Our Variant IQ program is dedicated to assessing the pathogenicity of genetic variants identified in patients.

One unique component within the Variant IQ program is the Family Insight Program, which allows for segregation analysis, or determining whether the variant of unknown significance (VUS) is tracking with the disease in the family.

Helping you understand test results

We have created reports to help you and your patients better understand hereditary cancer test results.

Only a patient’s treating physician can make diagnoses, prognostic or treatment decisions based on the knowledge of the patient, history and clinical/educational experience. Quest lab testing provides information for the physician to use in helping make such decisions.
