Help employees understand their health and next steps

When employees understand their health, they are more likely to access care

Yearly screening is meaningless if employees don’t understand their results and how they impact their overall health. That’s why we see a health screening as just the first step. Personalized reporting from Quest Diagnostics can help employees make sense of their results so that they can take the right next step to improve their health.

With our results reports, not only do participants have a downloadable PDF they can take to their next doctor visit, but employers can also add their own in-network benefits. Participants can click on a link within the online report, and it can take them right to a resource that is covered in their employer’s health plan.

Screening is just the first step. Help your employees connect their results to their next right action.

Consider health coaching to help employees act on screening results

Health coaching may help close gaps in care for employers by connecting the dots between diagnostic insights and next steps for care. By adding health coaching to your Quest Diagnostics health screenings, you can take your well-being program to the next level.

  • Reduce costs: Drive earlier intervention to avoid costly ER and urgent care visits to potentially reduce healthcare spending
  • Increase engagement: Empower employees to take charge of their health by making it easier for them to take action from their screening results
  • Exceed expectations: Meet the needs of today’s workforce with convenient multichannel coaching sessions that are available at your employees’ convenience

Employees receive trusted health screening results from Quest and are then able to connect with a health coach to set goals and create strategies to improve their health.

Chronic disease prevention and management

58% of employees have a chronic health condition,1 and 20% have more than 1.2 For those employees, and even those who are at risk, offering programs to help prevent or manage chronic conditions through lifestyle change makes it easier for them to take the next step toward improving their health.

Through screening, participants may learn they are eligible for either a disease prevention or management program. If eligible, employees will be paired with a health coach and will use smart technology to track their progress. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to join peer support groups for added encouragement and accountability.
