Partnering with communities, expanding clinical access, and driving health improvement across the United States

Established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Quest Diagnostics Foundation is committed to addressing the systemic root causes of health disparities. By combining corporate resources with trusted community leadership, we fund and scale evidence-based initiatives that promote wellness, prevent chronic disease, and empower individuals.

How we drive change: Our core pillars

We focus our resources on three critical, interconnected clinical and social interventions to build sustainable health improvement:

Strengthening the community health workforce

We fund recruitment, training, and integration pathways for community health workers (CHWs) and doulas. By placing trusted clinical advocates directly in maternal health deserts and under-resourced neighborhoods, we ensure patients can successfully navigate prenatal, postpartum, and chronic care management

Addressing social drivers of health (SDoH)

Clinical care is only part of the equation. Our grants actively support grassroots efforts to improve nutrition, food security, transportation access, and health literacy, removing the daily barriers that prevent individuals from achieving optimal health.

 

Promoting the prevention, early detection, monitoring, and treatment of disease through diagnostic testing

We believe that prevention starts with insight. In collaboration with Quest Diagnostics we provide grantees access to no-cost diagnostic screenings (for cardiometabolic risk and maternal health) to identify health issues early, when interventions are most effective.
