Don't miss out on high school sports!

Receive your student athlete’s required ECG screening at Quest Diagnostics

Help protect young hearts and fulfill Florida's Second Chance Act requirements. All student athletes in grades 9-12 must receive at least 1 electrocardiogram (ECG) screening before participating in interscholastic athletics. Quest Diagnostics and the nonprofit Who We Play For have teamed up to help make this screening quick, easy, and convenient for your family!

Quick and convenient

The entire appointment takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes! A parent or legal guardian must accompany the student to the appointment and stay for the duration of the screening.

Pro tips for a smooth screening

  • Rest: Avoid physical activity for 10-20 minutes before your appointment
  • Dress code: Female participants should wear a sports bra, scoop-neck tank top, or loose-fitting shirt. (Please avoid dresses, bodysuits, and long sleeves)
  • Results: Official screening results will be emailed directly to you or your guardian to submit to your school alongside your EL1 sports form

*These specific time slots are exclusively reserved for ECG appointments. They do not represent our standard location hours for other diagnostic testing or routine lab work.
