I knew I wanted a career in healthcare and wanted to work for a large organization. Quest fit the bill.“Today I provide financial support for Advanced Diagnostics, which includes our Oncology, Neurology and Women’s Health businesses. My job is to help drive the business forward any way I can.“The only thing typical about each day is that I start off with several cups of coffee! What I love about this role is that there are no typical days. You can look back on a week and see you’ve had five radically different experiences.“The best part of my job is, hands down, the people – I love our Quest community. In AdvancedDiagnostics, I’m fortunate enough to work with talented folks from across the whole organization.Finding enough time to connect with everyone? Now sometimes, that can be a challenge.“
Our people really care about what they do. I see collaboration every day among people from different departments, functions or stages in their career. That mindset is my favorite thing about this community. I like to say Quest is small enough that you don’t get lost, but big enough to matter.“One of my favorite Quest memories is the short-lived Finance dodgeball team. A group of us entered a night league in Morristown. On one side of the court you had us, a gang of Quest Finance folks – so, the nerds. And each week, we’d square off against a different high-school alumni varsity baseball team. I wish I could at least say it was competitive … but it wasn’t. We were completely annihilated every single time. But even so, we laughed and picked each other up and built camaraderie along the way. It’s something I’ll never forget.”
