Addressing a Public Health Crisis: Applications for COVID-19 Antibody Testing

Description: COVID-19 antibody testing plays a critical role in the public health response to this pandemic, including helping to determine prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 infection in the community or population of interest; providing information to assist in surveillance program efforts, and implement disease mitigation. During this presentation the presenters discuss commercial lab and public health collaborations, including current COVID-19 initiatives, explain the basis for serology tests for COVID-19 and recommendations for use, describe the utility of antibody testing in seroprevalence surveillance, and containment.
