The Activity Button is a menu button in Epic that launches the Enterprise Content Solutions full client software in order to see all scans indexed to a patient or encounter (depending on context).

Includes capture of admit, pre-admit, discharge, merge, and update messages sent to Enterprise Content Solutions in HL7 format. The HL7 messages will create, modify, or move patient encounters/charts within Enterprise Content Solutions.

The Enterprise Content Solutions Correspondence integration allows users to scan correspondence documents into Enterprise Content Solutions. Enterprise Content Solutions will provide the notification for the specifically identified correspondence document types via a batch outbound flat file. The Scan Viewing API will be utilized to view the correspondence documents.

Deficiency Tracking enables a chart analyst to assign a signature deficiency to an Enterprise Content Solutions document. The created scan signature deficiency will send an In-Basket message to the provider to sign the scanned document. The assigned provider will be able to view the Enterprise Content Solutions document via the integrated viewer and either decline or sign the document.

The EpicWeb allows for a provider to display Enterprise Content Solutions documents from EpicCare and Plan Link.

The HIM Release of Information integration allows users to include Enterprise Content Solutions documents into the release as if they are stored on the Epic Blob server. The Enterprise Content Solutions documents will print in the standard legal medical record reports.

Hyperdrive is a secure, Epic-specific web browser that includes a Windows-native plugin infrastructure that enables integrations with other products.

The Hyperlinks Backload creates a backload of HL7 journal file(s) for historical documents located in the Enterprise Content Solutions that are sent to Epic for creation of hyperlinks. Epic recommends 2 years maximum of backload.

The Image Retrieval API allows the Epic-supplied web service to request any type of document stored in Enterprise Content Solutions for viewing in Hyperspace and MyChart. The Enterprise Content Solutions documents can be displayed as thumbnail previews on the media tab and available for notes and viewing within MyChart. The documents viewable from MyChart are the result-level scans/documents.

This feature allows Quanum ECS documents, viewable with Epic hyperlinks, to be included in the results list for an Epic OCR Search. From the results list, Quanum ECS documents are viewed via the standard hyperlink, within the Epic viewer.

Enterprise Content Solutions can receive an order HL7 interface, and the order number is available during batch scanning to be associated to the document. When the order number is associated to the document the order number is sent outbound to Epic via the notification interface.

EOB documents scanned into Enterprise Content Solutions non-patient cabinet/drawer/folder structure creates an outbound HL7 document notification message that is sent to Epic. The hyperlink is sent to the Epic payment posting workflow to view the scanned document, which resides within Enterprise Content Solutions.

Enterprise Content Solutions delivers an outbound HL7 notification to Epic (real-time) once a document is sent via an interface, scanned from Enterprise Content Solutions, or imported into Enterprise Content Solutions. This interface is also used to update a document if it is deleted or moved within Enterprise Content Solutions. This notification appears as a hyperlink within Epic.

Integration utilized to view an Enterprise Content Solutions document from within Epic via the hyperlink.

The Scan Acquisition allows the user to acquire the scan. The user can scan at the patient level or encounter level and depending on the workflow, may also scan at the order level. When the document is scanned at the order level may be available to view on the orders-based tabs. The scan is stored in Enterprise Content Solutions and is immediately viewable from Epic.

The Enterprise Content Solutions interface processes a HL7 message when a hyperlink is updated or re-indexed in Epic or when the hyperlink is deleted in Epic. Enterprise Content Solutions will update, delete, or re-index the document with the supplied document metadata.

The Scheduling interface includes the capture of appointment/scheduling messages sent to Enterprise Content Solutions in HL7 format. The HL7 messages will create a patient encounter/chart within Enterprise Content Solutions.

The User Update interface includes the capture and processing of HL7 messages or ASCII text formatted reports containing user update data to create and modify existing Enterprise Content Solutions users in the customer’s production instance.

The Enterprise Content Solutions Web Blob Pass Through integration is a FHIR web service which allows Epic systems to perform add, update, and view document operations within Enterprise Content Solutions. Epic is the source system for these documents, but may still be viewed from either Epic or Enterprise Content Solutions (read-only).
