What is CATALYST?

CATALYST is a clinical study designed to improve cancer detection and treatment. The goal is to understand how new cancer tests may improve cancer care. These tests include

• Minimal residual disease (MRD) testing—detects tiny amounts of cancer that may be left after treatment. This testing can help show whether your treatment is working and find early signs of cancer recurrence
• Comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP)—provides a detailed report of gene changes in a person’s tumor. This information can help guide your doctor in choosing the best treatment plan for you

In addition, people who have had these tests will have the option to be asked questions about their experience. Also, this study may evaluate MRD testing in individuals with 2 or more cancer types.

Why join the CATALYST registry? As a participant, you may

• Help advance cancer research: Your participation may help researchers better understand how MRD and CGP testing can improve cancer care, potentially helping future patients
• Receive specialized cancer testing at no cost 

Who can take part? You may be eligible if

• You have been diagnosed with at least one solid tumor cancer
• You are receiving cancer treatment or have previously been treated for cancer
• Your doctor has ordered MRD or CGP testing as part of your treatment plan and you have received test results
• Your CGP or MRD test was 6 months or less from when you enroll in this study

Important to know

• Submitting a request does not guarantee enrollment. The number of people in the study is limited
• Your involvement is voluntary. You may stop participating at any time without affecting your medical care
• Your data and samples may be used for research. Health information, as well as blood or tissue samples submitted for CGP or MRD testing, may be included in this study. Details will be explained fully in the consent agreement
• Your privacy is protected. All personal health information will be encrypted, securely stored, and only able to be accessed by authorized researchers, following HIPAA and privacy regulations
