Did you receive an error message? Is a button not working? A screen doesn’t load? Follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1.  Make sure your phone software is up-to-date. Same for the Quest Virtual Care app. For iPhone (iOS) users: even with automatic updates, you'll need to tap Install Now to update
    • Do this by navigating to Settings General Software Update
    • Uninstall and reinstall the Quest Virtual Care app
    • Restart your phone
  2. Run a speed test to check your internet connection
  3. Make sure your sound and video are working. Are they set to the correct input/output sources?
  4. Allow audio, video, and notices for the Quest Virtual Care app
    • Android: Settings Search Permission Manager
    • iOS: Settings Privacy and Security Microphone
  5. Make sure Bluetooth is turned off
    • If you are connected to Wi-Fi, disconnect before starting a new visit
    • If you are on a VPN, disconnect while using the Quest Virtual Care app
