Oral fluid drug testing certifications & cutoff levels

Oral fluid drug testing panels and cutoffs

Our employer oral fluid drug testing panels detect commonly abused drugs and yield reliable results, meaning you can screen with confidence.

Methodology

A two-tiered testing process ensures that positive oral fluid drug test results are re-checked and confirmed. The initial oral fluid specimen is screened using enzyme immunoassay (EIA), a proven reliable methodology for routine testing.

Confirmation

Any samples that are presumptively positive in the initial tests are confirmed, utilizing another portion of the oral fluid specimen, using either gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) or gas chromatography/mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry (GC/MS/MS) technology.

Certifications

Quest Diagnostics Employer Solutions drug testing locations hold and maintain CAP, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA), and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA-88) certification as well as any applicable state licensure.
