Arrive prepared for a smoother visit

If your doctor provided you with an order for a test, you will need to visit one of our more than 2,000 Patient Service Centers to have your specimen collected.

If you are visually impaired, use your mobile device to check in. Or when you arrive, swipe 3 fingers in any direction across our kiosk screen to check in.

We’re here to help you have the best experience possible. Arriving prepared can help make your visit go smoothly. Check out special preparation details if your test requires fasting or you're bringing a child in for a lab visit.

Get a lab order from your doctor

Your doctor may prescribe lab testing as part of your visit. Or you can request a specific lab test from your doctor. A lab order can be printed or digital. If your doctor doesn’t hand you a printed lab order, we recommend contacting them prior to your Quest appointment to confirm that it was sent electronically.

Alternative option: Purchase your own test

Another option is to buy the test for yourself. It's a simple way to get the test you need, without a doctor's visit. Shop for tests now.
