questions below. Review
health risks that may increase the seriousness of your
child's symptoms.  | Call your child's health professional immediately if you answer "Yes" to
any of the following questions. | | Yes | Is there any blood or yellow or green liquid (bile) in the vomit of a
baby younger than 3 months of age? | | Yes | Has your child older than 3 months of age vomited mostly blood, bile, or
material that looks like coffee grounds? |
 | Call your child's health professional today if you answer "Yes" to
the following question. | | Yes | Are there streaks of blood in your child's vomit? |
 | You may wait to see if your child's symptoms improve over the next 24 hours (or specified time period) if you answer "Yes" to
the following question. | | Yes | Over the past 24 hours, has your child occasionally vomited and had
streaks of blood in the vomit some of the time? |
If you have answered "No" to the above questions, go back to Check Your Symptoms and continue to answer the questions to evaluate your symptoms.
