Review health risks that may increase the seriousness of your child's symptoms.
Call your child's health professional immediately if you answer "Yes" to any of the following questions.
Yes Did your child lose consciousness for less than a few seconds, but there are no signs of a serious head injury now?
Yes Are you unsure whether your child lost consciousness, but there are no signs of a serious head injury now?
Yes Has your baby age 12 months or younger had a head injury?
If you have answered "No" to the above questions, go back to Check Your Symptoms and continue to answer the questions to evaluate your symptoms.
