This organization has many resources for people with multiple sclerosis (MS). It provides referrals to neurologists and other health professionals, physical activity programs, and affiliations with 80 MS treatment centers throughout the United States. It operates counseling services at the chapter level and assists in family and social support, independent living, and referrals to long-term care facilities. It compiles current research reports, publishes pamphlets and the Inside MS magazine for consumers, and has a network of over 140 local chapters and related support groups.
