National Adoption Information Clearinghouse (NAIC)

The NAIC provides comprehensive information about adoption by United States citizens, including infant and international adoption and the adoption of children with special needs. The NAIC maintains the National Adoption Directory, a database of adoption literature, adoption experts, adoption agencies, crisis pregnancy centers, and other adoption-related services; excerpts of state and federal laws on adoption information; and information on ongoing research projects concerning adoption. Most NAIC services are free.
