A growth on or under a nailWarts are the most common type of growth that occurs
under or next to the nail. They occur more frequently in children. Home
treatment is appropriate only if you are certain the growth is a wart. If there
is any doubt that a skin growth is a wart, see a health professional first.
Other types of growths on or under the nails are less common and
include
cysts and
moles.
