What may increase your risk for a breast problem?Some studies show that the risk of having a breast problem is higher
for women who have any of the following conditions or take certain medicines.
Be sure to tell your health professional. Conditions- Are of childbearing age
- Have
irregular menstrual cycles
- Are older than age 60
Medicines- Birth control pills (oral
contraceptives)
- Hormone replacement therapy
- Infertility
drugs
- Corticosteroids, such as prednisone
- Cimetidine,
such as Tagamet
