Minimal bleeding

After the initial bleeding has stopped, a cut or scrape may ooze a clear yellowish to pinkish fluid. The clear yellowish fluid is a normal part of the blood (serum). When the fluid is pink, it has a few red blood cells in the serum. The fluid drainage gradually diminishes and stops, usually within the first 4 days. As long as there are no signs of infection, this type of fluid drainage is not a concern.
