Celiac disease affects millions of Americans and is a growing health concern, but one with low awareness among doctors and their patients. At Quest Diagnostics, we offer testing solutions needed to aid in the diagnosis and management of patients with this challenging disease.
Screen your patients for cervical cancer and other select sexually transmitted infections (STIs) with our convenient, age-based test menus. These offerings are based on the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommendations and include image-guided Pap tests, HPV testing, and certain STI testing, depending on the patient’s age*.
* The ACOG recommendations do not specify a particular type of Pap test. Both imaged and non-imaged Pap tests are acceptable under the recommendations. Non-imaged Pap tests, as well as additional testing recommended by ACOG, are available at Quest Diagnostics and may be ordered individually. Go to QuestDiagnostics.com/TestCenter to find our full menu of tests.
Primary care clinicians are the front line in fighting infectious disease. The CDC calls hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection “an unrecognized health crisis in the United States.” The majority of people infected are asymptomatic and remain undiagnosed for many years, making screening critical. Quest Diagnostics supports you in the fight against Hep C with highly accurate screening.
Nearly one out of every six HIV-infected persons is unaware of his or her infection. That means they are unable to benefit from clinical care and also may be transmitting HIV unknowingly. Fourth Generation HIV screening allows detection of infection 0 to 20 days (median, 5-7 days) before third generation immunoassays, to reduce transmission rates.
H pylori infection is a known factor in gastric illness, including stomach cancer. In fact, it’s a Class 1 carcinogen. The American College of Gastroenterology recommends active H pylori testing, including the urea breath test (UBT) and the stool antigen test (HpSA). Quest Diagnostics offers both to give you and your patients the choice as well as the highest accuracy.
Ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease (CD), the most common forms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), can be difficult to distinguish in about 10% to 15% of IBD patients.1 For those patients, the Quest Diagnostics IBD Differentiation Panel helps you differentiate UC from Crohn’s, a critical step for improved outcomes, as the treatment and prognosis for UC and CD differ.

Diagnosing rheumatoid arthritis can be challenging because early symptoms are non-specific and conventional testing is positive in only 69% of patients with early RA.2 IdentRA™ is a three-marker test that includes the 14-3-3η protein, the only biomarker produced exclusively by the joint, to enable accurate diagnosis early, when intervention is critical to a better outcome for your patient.

More than 11 million Americans have a latent tuberculosis (TB) infection. Quest Diagnostics offers QuantiFERON®-TB Gold, a blood test with significant advantages over the tuberculin skin test (TST): higher accuracy (the TST has a false positive rate of 3%-65%4); objective result vs. subjective reading; no interference from the BCG vaccine; and requires only one patient visit vs. 2-4 with the TST.
