What is it?

The Diabetes Risk Panel with Score predicts a patient’s risk of developing diabetes. It produces a full and accurate picture of diabetes risk using four key components:

When should you use it?

  • To assess a patient’s risk of developing diabetes
  • To identify prediabetes

What makes it different?

This panel offers some key advantages that directly impact the quality of information and care you can provide to your patients early on:

  • Measures both glucose and HbA1c levels—recent studies have shown that testing glucose plus HbA1c levels provides greater accuracy in identifying prediabetes than testing either marker alone1-4
  • Offers 8-Year Framingham Diabetes Risk Score—optional and available at no additional cost, this score is based on the landmark Framingham Study Group and provides a percentage risk of developing diabetes over the next 8 years5
  • Reports results in a graphical format—supports your discussions with patients by helping you clearly communicate risk
