Job Description Samples

Project Management

1. Provides primary interaction with the sponsor.
2. Assembles the proper Quest Diagnostics staff needed for the study kick off and ongoing support.
3. Defines (with appropriate sponsor input) the appropriate communication forums throughout the study.
4. Completes the CLW (Central Laboratory Worksheet) with the sponsor to ensure all study and sponsor needs are met, including global standardization.
5. Develops the study-specific test requisition form to capture demographic, testing, visit and related clinical information.
6. Designs an investigator instruction manual which details the laboratory testing, proper completion of the requisition form, packaging, transport, and reporting procedures for each visit.
7. Coordinates with the individual(s) to present the central laboratory services and study-specific procedures at the Investigator Meeting.
8. Assists the sponsor with special needs such as visit-specific packaging, special reporting and result flagging.
9. Serves as the day-to-day liaison between the sponsor company and our Clinical Trials staff.

Data Management

1. Main point of contact for study data transmittal processes and for identifying and documenting the study data transmittal process requirements.
2. Designs, develops, tests, documents, and maintains computer programs to implement study data transmittal processes.
3. Executes study data transmit processes. Ensures that accurate, timely and consistent clinical data is transmitted.
4. Receives, analyzes, resolves and responds to questions/queries regarding study data transmittal processes.
5. Ensures that final dataset is sent to sponsor within prescribed timelines by working very closely with Sponsor Data Manager as well as with the Quest Diagnostics Project Management Team.

Sales

1. Responsible for acquiring new leads and maintaining client relationships.
2. Works with Bids and Contracts to provides sponsor with a cost proposal.
3. Reviews initial study set-up requirements and protocol specifications.
4. Discusses protocol changes with sponsor and assists with other specific sponsor requests.
5. Addresses sponsor satisfaction and concerns through the duration of the study.
6. Conducts periodic business reviews to discuss service levels.
